Le Luchon Triathlon begins to Lac de Badech with a 1000-metre swim, followed by a 21km bike ride up 1000 metres of ascent to the summit of Pic de l'Entécade.

Swimming and transition at Lake Badech
L’swimming event consists of covering 1000 metres in the waters of Lake Badech. The start is at 8.45 am in clear water. The early morning atmosphere marks the start of the competition.
The T1 transition zone opens at 8.00 a.m. for the bikes to be installed. You must prepare your cycling equipment carefully. Visit zone closes at 8.30 a.m. sharp.
Cycle ascent and trail to Pic de l'Entécade
The 21km cycle route has a positive gradient of 1,000 metres. This ascent to the Hospice de France puts a lot of strain on your legs. It's a major physical challenge before starting the trail section. The average gradient reaches 6.5 % on some sections.
The final finish is at Pic de l'Entécade at an altitude of 2,267 metres. The summit offers panoramic views of the Pyrenees.
